I am a 68 year old single woman. my property taxes has reached a point that I no longer can afford to live in my paid off home . Do I pay Taxes or Insurance? I can not handle both. Taxes will take my home if I don't pay. Insurance will take my home only if I have a horrible mishap. so I have no insurance. I can barely afford to eat, I do have a doggie, I will feed if I eat. Thank You for Your Attention to this Matter. I do appreciate your work to help out. I should never have to sell my home to afford to live. I am thinking of that as a way of survival. I've worked to hard in my life to have to sell my home because of taxes and insurance. Thank You.

You are correct. Property taxes should be based on price of house when you buy it until resold!!! This way retired people arnt taxed out of their houses!!

This is the price you pay for voting Democrat. while the elderly are wondering how to pay taxes, eat and losing their homes. Democrats are paying for illegal immigrant criminals housing,food, Healthcare and clothing. Democrats don't care about Americans. KEEP VOTING DEMOCRAT. I’m on a fixed income, own my home and I’m being taxed out. I’m selling my home come spring. This is what happens on a fixed income! You work all your life to be taxed out!!! All intentionally 👍🏼
