Two bald eagles gave Crest Hill residents quite a show this week—locked together in a wild tangle right in someone’s driveway! Turns out, these dramatic mid-air battles are part of their mating or territorial rituals, but sometimes the birds can’t break free and crash-land. Thanks to quick action from Animal Control and volunteers, both eagles were safely separated and returned to the wild.
