If people can buy lobster / steak at those prices then that means they are receiving too much. But up until recently, steak is cheaper than most other bone in meat. also. When I buy steaks, I'm satisfied with 1/2 steak whereas I'd eat several chicken thighs. So it would be cheaper to buy steak at $8.99 per lb vs chicken at $1.99/ lb w bones. after waste you are prob paying $5.99/lb for chicken. so it makes sense about the steak. but not about the lobster.

I remember during the pandemic items of meat, peanut butter and other products were suddenly showing up on marketplace to be sold. So yes, people were going to the food bank. They were getting their food boxes and they were turning around and selling them. So would it be any surprise that people are purchasing items on snap to sell. They’ll get caught like the woman who bought baking goods so she could make baking products and sell them and make money using her snap card.
