Two teens from Pennsylvania have created a budget friendly exhaust filter that uses microalgae to turn car emissions into fresh oxygen. As reported by Chester County Press, eighteen year olds Rohan Kapoor and Jack Reichert designed the Go Green filter, a small device that attaches directly to a vehicle’s exhaust pipe. Their system allows microalgae to absorb carbon dioxide and release oxygen, cutting down the pollution that cars normally produce. Inspired by research from an MIT professor, the pair spent nearly a year improving their prototype and proving their idea could really work. Their innovation shows how simple, nature based technology can make everyday transportation cleaner. #GoGreenTech #YouthInnovation #CleanAir #EcoFuture #NewsBreaks
