Hard to believe, but we just lost the last link to NASCAR’s first-ever season. Bill Huskins, who wheeled the No. 18 back in 1948, passed away at 100. He was the last of the true OGs—guys who raced before million-dollar purses and high-tech safety. Huskins’ passing really closes the book on NASCAR’s wild, bootlegger-fueled beginnings. Anyone else feel like the sport’s lost a piece of its soul? #Sports #Racing #NASCAR
