GM’s Engine Recall Drama Just Got Real

GM’s V8 engine recall just exploded into a mega lawsuit! Over 1,000 drivers complained about their engines failing, and now a judge has merged a bunch of lawsuits into one giant case. Owners say GM’s fix (just changing the oil spec?!) isn’t enough, and they want real compensation. I got my 2nd recall notice, scheduled an appointment, said they did the test and it passed. Change the oil and filter. I don’t believe they tested anything, just an oil change. My visit lasted one and half hours.

why I don't drive a 2000 or later because they messed up the engines when they redesigned them I already knew they weren't any good or reliable the 4.3 was way better

I had Yukon Denali years ago with the 6.2. It was a great vehicle. What happened to the new ones? And does anybody understand why the changed oil spec is supposedly a fix?

I have a 2021 Silverado High Country. I didn’t have much confidence in the process but I got the call from the dealership saying my truck failed the test. I should have a new engine in a couple of weeks.

They swapped my 6.2 engine in my Silverado, but the truck has never worked the same. My engine died during rush hour on the interstate. Wasn't fun. Stuff quits working randomly and then works the next time. TOO MUCH $ SPENT TO HAVE THIS CRAP HAPPENING! 🤬

I have a AT 4 6.2 brought it in and all they did was change the oil and put some test on it. They said it pasted the test and that was it.
