There are two sides. But they are away from each other now and she needs to move on. She wouldn’t still be in court if she hadn’t sold her 1/2 of the winery (secretly and with the sole intention to screw Brad over). She’s vengeful and bitter and can’t let go. How much of the kids choice to be with her comes from things Brad did or from the years the she’s spent beating him down to them, to the public, to anyone who will listen. Zero regard for how it’s affected her kids. It’s all about her - she needs the kids because she can’t be alone. She’s a mess and she’s dragging them along with her.
