are you for real ? kirk never said anything about changing standards he simply said that females and people of color are unqualified for certain jobs in this case airline pilot. This is just one of many missguided assumptions about DEI which mostly benifits white women ,vets and handicap . They simply widen the search pool to include people who are largely over looked,once in training it is up to the individual to pass all standards and qualifications to become certified. Do people honestly believe that airline componies would jeopardize lives and law suits by placing unqualified people into those postions ? Mr kirk was just pushing these same old sexist and racsist ideas that have been around forever to gain fame and fortune with his mostly white supremacists audience.
