I don’t really know how to explain this without sounding strange, but a lot of my prayers don’t come out as sentences. They’re more like feelings. Pauses. Deep breaths when I don’t know what to ask for. I used to feel guilty about that, like I wasn’t doing it right. But lately I’ve been thinking — maybe prayer isn’t about saying the right thing. Maybe it’s about showing up honestly, even when you don’t have language. If prayer is communication, I don’t think it has to be polished. #Prayer #Jesus
