Actually, as a nurse, I do know that people are not informed enough to be told what medications to avoid or can be taken together or alcohol and yes, there are some people that definitely can die from an accidental overdose. Pain actually is a horrible thing to have to deal with and unfortunately, in this country patients are not provided the pain relief legally that they need or the counseling that they need how to cope when you live with pain 24 seven you feel like life is not worth living because it” interferes” with any enjoyment or your weight of living.
