I was not a star. The Magi FOLLOWED it, and it came to a stop over Bethlehem. if it were a star everybody would have been going in the same direction, and most would have missed Bethlehem by passing by to the north and south of the city.

I studied Egyptian history a while ago. Of course, all societies think time started with them. No so, Egyptian history said that they the Egyptian saw a star. A bright star that the Egyptians figured to be present at Jesus’s birth. To me, that signifies that yes, the star was real and the star showed all around the known world!
