I like this song. And yes, it does make me wonder if Mary knew what her son was going to go through. I myself would have been in so much trouble at that time because of them tearing his flesh from the scouraging they did to Jesus. I would have run and put my body over my child to protect him. So, I am guessing that she did know because God told her. But it is still hard for a mother to see her child go through something so horrible and not able to stop it. I can only imagine the turmoil of what she had endured.
