This is definitely nothing to celebrate, because the tiny drop in the bucket everyone will receive is not even close to covering all the increases that will come in January. By the time you add up what you will be paying, all of us will be depressed because 2.8% will not cover, and unfortunately, we will be going backwards. If they would increase everyone's check by $200, as mentioned as an option, and then increase it by 2.8% it would be the boost everyone so desperately needs.
