Gas Engines Aren’t Going Anywhere Yet
Thought we’d all be driving EVs by 2035? Not so fast. Bosch, the world’s biggest auto supplier, says 70% of American cars will still have gas engines (including hybrids) in 2035. Even with all the hype and incentives for electric vehicles, the U.S. just isn’t moving as fast as Europe or Asia. Looks like hybrids and plug-in hybrids will be the real bridge for the next decade. Problem is there aren’t enough EV stations around especially in rural states like mine! People are used to filling up at gas stations that maybe takes about 10 minutes or so instead of an hour or more when charging at a EV station! Until someone like AAA list all the EV stations in this country it will be a difficult sell in my lifetime. Great idea but not very practical!
