At the beginning of my daughter's wedding reception, we had to turn away at least 5 people and their plus's due to no RSVP. It only takes a minute or two to respond, and usually has a stamped envelope included. Meals are counted and paid for, have some consideration.

All an RSVP does is reserves your spot at the wedding so they can have an accurate head count. They have to pay per amount of people or per plate so they need an accurate head count. It is not time consuming or physically hurting anyone to say Yes I will be there and I have a family of what ever number. They are not asking you to pay for your seat. Some of the responses on here are truly mind boggling! 🤔😲😆
