Those are Paul's words, not Christ's, and neither Jesus nor Paul had a say in deciding which texts should be accepted as scripture and which ones rejected. Others assembled the biblical canon much later. I believe one would do better to follow the example of Jesus's own words and actions - to the extent that we know them - rather than place blind faith in the litteral verity of scripture.
