Fellow club golfers, are we being priced out of our own game? Even as participation booms post-Covid, it feels like only the deep-pocketed can keep up with rising membership fees—mine just hit £1,800! Pay-and-play isn’t much better, with public green fees skyrocketing. Unless clubs modernize with flexible credit systems, I fear the next generation of scratch players won’t stick around.
