Storytelling has always been how we survive. Before books, before data, before credentials, people passed wisdom through stories. Stories carried warnings, lessons, hope, and memory. They reminded us we weren’t alone. I don’t share stories because I’m trying to build a brand or monetize pain. I share them because I’ve lived enough to know that someone, somewhere, is quietly asking the same questions I once asked. Storytelling matters because it gives language to experiences we don’t always know how to name. It helps people feel seen without being exposed. It turns isolation into connection. I’m rich in a different way. Rich in lessons earned the hard way. Rich in perspective. Rich in the belief that healing multiplies when it’s shared. If one story helps someone breathe easier, choose differently, or feel less alone, that’s enough. That’s the work. ~ L.J.
