Double Eclipse Alert! Two incredible celestial shows, just two weeks apart! 🔥 February 17 – Annular Solar Eclipse (“Ring of Fire”) The Moon will glide across the Sun, covering most of it and leaving a blazing ring visible along a narrow strip over western Antarctica for just over 2 minutes. Elsewhere in southern Africa and the southern tips of Chile and Argentina, you’ll see a partial eclipse—like the Sun got a cosmic bite taken out of it. Remember: never look directly at the Sun without proper eclipse glasses! For most of us, online live streams will be the safest way to catch this spectacle. 🌑 March 3 – Total Lunar Eclipse (“Blood Moon”) Two weeks later, the full Worm Moon will sink into Earth’s shadow, glowing a deep red for almost an hour. Unlike the solar eclipse, this one is perfectly safe to watch with your naked eyes. The total eclipse will be visible from eastern Asia, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, and western North America, while others will see the partial phases. The Moon will be in Leo near Regulus, making stars pop beautifully in the night sky. This is your last chance to see a total lunar eclipse until the end of 2028–2029—don’t miss it if skies are clear!
