If you are paying for his car repair or your ins is then why is he sending you messages on your phone about his personal drama? It sound’s to me like the person you hit was either not insured fully or at all or his ins suck’s because i have been hit a couple time’s in past & the other person’s ins paid for a rental !!! And my car’s were or are not cheap not bragging but geez shit happen’s & yes always call the local police to make sure the person or people do not find a way to screw you!!! I’m not or wont take chances!! And block the guy who is stressing you out about his own personal issues you have done your part & idk if your ins will pay for a rental? Idk either way good luck & hopefully lesson learned!!
