I did hair for years I could get anywhere from five dollar tip to a $50 tip and this is back in the day but every now and then I’d have my regulars that would come in on the weekend and they tipped me a dollar and I liked my tips that was always like oh thank you, but I was young and would get kind of an attitude, but that was all they can afford. They were old people lived on a fixed income, so you gotta figure out if they can afford it they could’ve barely afford getting their hair done so a dollar tip was just fine.
