UPDATE: SAVANNAH GUTHRIE RETURNS TO TODAY STUDIO AS SEARCH FOR MISSING MOTHER CONTINUES Today co-anchor Savannah Guthrie returned to the studio on March 5, marking her first visit since her mother Nancy Guthrie disappeared 33 days ago. According to a spokesperson for the Today show, Guthrie stopped by the studio to thank her colleagues and plans to return to the show on-air at a later date. For now, she remains focused on supporting her family and helping bring her mother home. Nancy Guthrie, 84, was last seen January 31 after having dinner with family and was reported missing on February 1 when she failed to attend a virtual church service. Investigators released doorbell camera footage showing a masked intruder approaching Nancy’s Tucson home the night she vanished. Authorities say the investigation remains active, with the FBI and the Pima County Sheriff’s Office pursuing multiple leads. Sheriff Chris Nanos recently said investigators believe they are “definitely closer” to identifying a suspect. The Guthrie family has now increased the reward to $1 million for information leading to Nancy’s recovery or an arrest. Anyone with information is urged to contact the FBI tip line at 1-800-CALL-FBI or the Pima County Sheriff’s Office at 520-351-4900.
