Am I pleasing God? That question hits different at 2 AM. Everyone’s highlight reel is perfect—families, ministries, testimonies. You wonder: Am I even on His radar? Is He disappointed? The enemy loves turning grace into a performance review. Scripture doesn’t leave us guessing. Hebrews 11:6 — without faith it’s impossible to please God. Not flawless behavior. Faith. Trusting Jesus already finished the work. Galatians 1:10 — “Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? … If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ.” Most of us are secret people-pleasers in Jesus merch. We chase likes, nods from leaders, “good job” from family. No wonder our soul stays empty. Pleasing God isn’t perfect execution. It’s heart direction. Colossians 1:10 — walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to Him: bearing fruit, growing in knowing Him. Not grinding for approval—abiding so fruit flows naturally. Micah 6:8 nails it: Do justice. Love mercy. Walk humbly with your God. Real self-check: • Trusting Christ’s finished work, or still earning it? • Living for an audience of One, or performing for the crowd? • When I sin, run to shame or run to the cross? • Obedience from love (“If you love Me, keep My commands” John 14:15) or fear? If you’re in Christ, God isn’t grading on a curve. He’s delighted—He sees His Son when He looks at you (Ephesians 1:6 — “accepted in the Beloved”). His pleasure isn’t fragile. It’s locked in Jesus. Stop chasing “enough.” You already are—because He is. Rest there. Live from approval, not for it. That’s when you truly please Him. “Well done” isn’t earned tomorrow. It’s declared today over every believer. Drop a 🙏 if this hit home. Who else is asking this tonight? #FaithOverPerformance #PleasingGod #GraceWins
