Rest in peace, Ariana A. Bouche, a 27-year-old officer who gave her life in service to her country. 🇺🇸 A pilot of the Boeing KC-135 Stratotanker, 1st Lt. Bouche was serving on a mission over Iraq when a U.S. military aircraft crashed, claiming the lives of brave service members dedicated to the mission. It’s impossible to imagine the devastating phone call her parents had to receive — the words no family should ever have to hear, that their child will not be coming home. A young American who chose to serve something greater than herself… taken far too soon. Today, we remember her courage. We honor her service. And we recognize the sacrifice she made for this nation. 🇺🇸 Rest easy, Lieutenant. A grateful nation salutes you.
