We were never made to walk this walk alone. God made us for community with other believers. We can not pick what scriptures challenges us and choose not to follow it because if people. The scriptures tell us not to forsake the assembly of the brethren , which represents the Church, that wasn't a suggestion it was a command. Because He knew one day we would need other believers to lift us up and Pastor to leads us. It sounds like maybe you got church hurt or just haven't found the right church. So just like we as people ask for redemption in our lives I believe the church has that same right to ask for redemption and be given the same right. There are great churches out there that truly love people but if you looking fir a perfect church sorry that won't happen because imperfect people go there. Do what Peter did Focus on Jesus and YOUR walk with Him because we will always be confused and feel alone when we focus on things around Him and not Him praying for you
