Finding direction through faith! Did you know that the phrase "enlarge my territory" originates from 1 Chronicles 4:10, which is part of the Prayer of Jabez? In this prayer, Jabez implores God to bless him, expand his influence, keep His hand upon him, and protect him from harm, and God honors his request. When faith, obedience, and divine provision come together, there are no limits to what one can achieve. Recently, I spoke with someone who expressed a yearning for more in their life. They felt a desire for the Lord to expand their territory in terms of favor, prosperity, and responsibilities. Although they were content, there was a deep-seated urge to follow where God was leading them. Aware that the Lord was working on their behalf, they committed to prayer and sought divine guidance before taking any steps. As time passed, they received a call to step into a greater role, fulfilling a need that God had prepared for them. While the Lord's ways can be mysterious, it is essential to be ready when He decides to act on your behalf. This illustrates the importance of aligning oneself with God and walking by faith rather than by sight. Speaking those things that are not as though they were, as stated in Romans 4:17, is a vital principle of faith, encouraging believers to declare and act upon God's promises rather than their current circumstances. By doing so, God begins to work in your favor. Today, take a moment to declare God's word over your life, allowing Him to move on your behalf.
