I hear you. And I want you to know: feeling forgotten is not the same as being forgotten. The silence you're experiencing—the absence, the weight, the sense that He's stepped back—that's not proof He's gone. Some of the most faithful people in Scripture felt exactly what you're feeling. David screamed "My God, my God, why have You forsaken me?" Job lost everything and cried out for answers that never came. Even Jesus, on the cross, quoted that same Psalm—feeling the weight of abandonment so that you never have to be truly alone. You're going through things you need Him for. And He hasn't left. I know it doesn't feel that way. But feelings lie. Circumstances shift. His presence doesn't. He's not standing at a distance watching you struggle. He's in the struggle with you. Sometimes the silence is where He's doing the deepest work—the kind that can't be done when you're in constant comfort. The kind that grows roots you can't see. You believe in Him. That's not nothing. That's the thread you hold when the rope is too frayed to see. He hasn't forgotten you. He hasn't left you to deal with this alone. Keep crying out. Keep reaching. Even when it feels like nothing's reaching back. He's there. He hears. And He's not letting go. 🙏🏼
