It doesn't make sense. And it's okay to say that. You're not wrong for noticing it. The wicked prosper. The dishonest climb. The ones who play the game get the prizes. And the ones with honest hearts, the ones who show up, the ones who love when it costs them—they're often the ones who get walked on. It's been that way since the beginning. David saw it. Job lived it. Jeremiah questioned God about it. And Jesus? He was killed by it. "Why do the wicked prosper?" is one of the oldest questions in Scripture. And God didn't scold David or Jeremiah for asking. He let them cry out. He let them name the injustice. So you can too. This isn't about missing something. It's about living in a world that's upside down—where the values of the Kingdom are opposite of the values of the crowd. Jesus said blessed are the meek, the poor in spirit, the merciful. The world doesn't bless them. It overlooks them. Sometimes it crushes them. But here's what I hold onto: the story doesn't end here. The scales aren't final. The last chapter isn't written yet. And the One who sees the honest heart, the loyal soul, the one who kept caring when it cost them—He's not missing any of it. He's keeping track. And He's the one who balances the scales. It doesn't make sense now. But one day it will. And the people who cheated, stole, and lied their way through life? They'll have to face the One who saw it all. And the people with honest hearts who kept loving when it was hard? They'll be home. Until then, it hurts. It's unfair. And you're not wrong to feel it. 🙏
