Romans 7:14-25. Adamic sin and death spread to all mankind because of Adam, that's why it's a terrible struggle to do what's right in God's eyes. But thanks to Jesus ransom sacrifice all mankind can approach God for forgiveness of sins and have a real hope for a bright future. (Romans 5:12 and verse 15; John 3:16).

personally, I do not care what people think about me. I treat them the way i want to be treated. If they don't like me, that's on them. I am just me. I don't try to impress people either. I am just me. I don't want bad things to happen to anyone, but I have no control over them, especially when they choose to be bad. All I can do is give it to God. I have learned the hard way about a lot of things. One of them is that I know I do not have to be perfect to go to God and Jesus. They love me anyway. That was the hardest lesson ever.

Very fortunately our salvation doesn't depend on our "goodness", it is based upon the righteousness of Christ our Savior and Lord. He IS your Savior from sin and it's penalty death, as he is mine and all Christians. I take comfort in a great truth Paul Tillich wrote "A guilty conscience is a good conscience ", it keeps us honest and from being complacent. Also consider, a not so perfect Christian (like me) is nevertheless an adopted child of God, saved, and heir to the Kingdom of God eternally. A seemingly "wonderful" person who doesn't see a need for Christ is not reconciled with God because they haven't accepted His perfect righteousness, the only righteousness there is in Heaven where there is no sin: it is a perfect place, how else could we be there? Don't be too hard on yourself, abide in Christ (for He abides in you and His love for you is full and saving grace always), "don't ever lose that confidence of yours, you know it brings a great reward ".

Grace is the action of The Holy Spirit using God's Word to bring change in our hearts. The question is how much time do you spend in God's Word compared to time spent on the things of the World.
