“Hindi lahat ng masaya, tama.” Not everything that makes you happy brings glory to God, and anything that breaks His heart will never truly satisfy yours. Our daily prayer should be, “Lord, if it breaks Your heart, I don’t want it. Take it away from me.” Don’t trade God’s will for temporary desires that can’t fill the emptiness inside. Sometimes the reason your situation hasn’t changed is because God is still changing your heart. When your heart is right, your decisions become wise. When your decisions align with God’s Word, your actions follow in peace— we need more of God, and less of ourselves. Check your motives. Check your intentions. And always do a daily heart check with the Lord. Because in the end, it’s not about what feels good; it’s about what glorifies God. Let Him be your “why.” Let Him lead.
