The seven letters written to the churches in Revelation and the rewards mentioned are intended for all those who are in Christ. This can be understood by the fact that Christ promises to not blot their names out of the Book of Life. All those who are in Christ are included in the Book of Life. If not, as mentioned in Revelation, those who are not are cast into the Lake of Fire. Revelation 20:15 states, “And whoever was not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.” Here are the seven rewards for those who overcome: 1. The one who overcomes will be granted the privilege of eating from the tree of life, which is located in the center of God’s paradise. 2. The one who overcomes will be protected from the second death. The second death is described in Revelation 20:14 as “death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.” The lake of fire is the second death. 3. The one who overcomes will be given the privilege of eating from the hidden manna and will receive a white stone inscribed with a new name that is known only to the one who receives it. 4. The one who overcomes and continues to keep my works until the end will be given the power to rule over the nations. They will rule them with a rod of iron, and I will give them the morning star. 5. The reward for the church in Sardis is that the one who overcomes will be clothed in white garments. Christ will not erase their name from the Book of Life but will confess their name before His Father and His angels. 6. The reward for the church in Philadelphia is identical to that of the church in Sardis: the one who triumphs will be adorned in white garments, and I shall not erase his name from the Book of Life. I shall proclaim his name before my Father and before his angels. (See comment for the rest)
