Romans 1:16 “Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me… I once was lost, but now I’m found…”. We, who share in His Grace, have a vision of His coming Glory. Unashamed, we share what we’ve witnessed, what we’ve heard and how our surrender to Jesus changed our life. There’s nothing more powerful than the testimony, the witness of brokenness made whole. There’s no right or wrong way to share the truth of the gospel as revealed in scripture. Our testimony, our witness, has less to do with our own transformation and more to do with the love and mercy and grace that covers us. It’s not our strength, our words, that changes people… it’s all Him, His Strength, His Courage, His Boldness and His Wisdom that flows through us. We’re simply to be available and obedient…He does the rest. Paul doesn’t want us to miss the fact Jesus came to Israel, the Jews first. The One they’d been waiting for since the beginning of time, He stood before them. Many didn’t recognize Him for one reason or another. Perhaps, the root would be their flesh standing in the way of what the spirit desires to accomplish. But God…used the wickedness of men for His Glory. As in the refining process, the impurities were removed and God’s Glory remained. “He came to His own, and His own didn’t receive Him”. This was the mystery, the promise of the ingrafting of the Gentiles, the adoption as sons and daughters. A promise given to Abraham…fulfilled, all the nations of the Earth would be blessed through him. Because of Jesus, we all have confidence to access to the throne of Grace. Unashamed, we share the truth about His glory and His grace with those He brings before us. Lord, may we be vessels for Your glory.
