Galatians 5:25 lf we believe it, having received His unmerited favor, where do we go from here? An inspired, spirit-filled Paul and Jesus half brother James would agree the dwelling of the Holy Spirit makes us new. No longer controlled by the old man, we live a life according to that which lives ir us. We're changed, we do thinas different we want different things. What He desires are now the things we want. We find strenath, His Strenath in us, throuqh His Joy... through what pleases Him... what makes Him happy. He gives us strength when Humilitv and Selflessness meets Pride and Selfishness on the battlefield Courage and Boldness are on each flank driving back Fear and Discouragement Grace and Mercy, Compassion and Love stand firm against spirits of Hate and Anger Jealousy and Unforgiveness. If our heart and mind are truly connected, and our desire is to please Him Who gives us Life... we're powerful through Jesus, and ourenemy is all already defeated. If we have to fight, we have what it takes to win. We're free to live life, to walk in the spirit. A double minded man will struggle, but the heart and mind singly focused on Jesus will take the victorv. If we're frustrated, wearv discouraged, if our hope is fading, He says to us 'Come back to Me... focus on Me'. A heart and mind fully surrendered to God will know victory. A life lived by walking in the spirit is unmoved by situations and circumstances, conditions we face in a fallen world. We walk in the spirit as surrendered believers in Jesus. He does it all... are we to choose to walk in obedience to the One Who loves us... Unconditionally Lord, would You fix what's broken so our head and heart have but one desire, to follow You. Help us to wield the Sword of the Spirit in Your Strength and Power in order to live...to walk in Spirit
