Why I Chose Jesus There are a lot of assumptions about why people turn to religion- and some are fair. Some are raised in it. Some find it at rock bottom. Some use it for community. Some follow it out of fear But many choose a belief system without ever understanding it-following tradition or people, but never experiencing the relationship that brings redemption I grew up hearing "Bible stories," but it took years to understand they all tell one story: mankind is fallen, God is holy, and redemption comes through the Messiah. The Bible is 66 books. written over centuries, vet unified in message. That alone is remarkableBut what matters most is this: Yeshua died-and rose again. God didn't owe us anything. Yet He sent His Son, the final sacrifice, to carry the weight of our sin No one else has qiven so much And I don't say that lightly I've walked through low valleys--placing my dentity in relationships, career, and even believing I wasn't enough for anyone.. including God That belief became a place I lived in But Jesus never changed He met me in every pit-even the ones created myself--and always made a wayout. And when I finally gave Him complete authority over my life, everything changed Not instantly easy--but undeniably new He gave me what I could never create on my own: a loving, faithful husband a home, a safe place for my son direction for my life, and eventually... a ministry Not because I earned it--but because He is good. What does He ask in return? To believe. To confess. To turn from sinTo follow Him. What have 1 lost that mattered? Nothing I have only gained That is why I chose Jesus - The One who never stopped reaching for me
