Delta Airlines is nixing free food and snacks on hundreds of flights across the country. Starting May 19, Delta will cut its complimentary snacks and sodas on routes under 350 miles. The update is expected to impact roughly 450 flights each day. The move comes as airlines struggle with rising fuel prices caused by the Iran war, which was one of many factors in the recent collapse of Spirit Airlines.
