As we face down the start of another week, I find myself completely relating to Moses in Exodus 4. God literally speaks to him from a burning bush, giving him a massive mission, and Moses' first reaction is pure anxiety. He brings up his speech impediment. He essentially says, "I am terrible at public speaking, please send someone else." He argued with the Creator of the universe because of a personal insecurity. And while God was frustrated, He didn't abandon Moses. He provided Aaron to help. God didn't demand flawless, independent execution; He just wanted Moses to take the next step. If you're feeling utterly inadequate for the tasks in front of you today, remember that God factors our flaws into His plans. You don't have to be perfect; you just have to be willing to show up. #Moses #OvercomingAnxiety #ImposterSyndrome #FaithJourney
