Only God can decide if someone is unforgivable. When we choose not to forgive, we become guilty of another sin: love the neighbor as ourselves. Who knows how much regret Jane may or may not have for her actions. As seen in today's political world, we are hopelessly ocked into a battlefield of hatred mistrust, anger, violence, with each of us sure that the other is wrong. If we don't begin to exercise tolerance, acceptance & restraint we will never return to feeling joy because we are Americans. The mentality we have at this juncture is eading to distrust, fear, anger and ultimately, revolution. I don't have an answer to how we can reverse the path we are on, but we must try to regain our civility, pride in being an American, willingness to compromise, and ourmorality. We can only move forward as a UNITED nation. As it is now, we're doomed to follow the path of other great nations who fell from greatness into chaos. As trivial as it might sound, we must learn to agree to disagree.
