Rudy (6 yrs, 9 lb imperial Shih Tzu) and Peanut (5 yrs, 5 lb imperial Shih Tzu) are completely inseparable. This isn’t just a “they like each other” situation — this is full-on soulmates. Where Rudy goes, Peanut follows. Where Peanut settles, Rudy is already curling up beside him. They nap cuddled together, wander the house side-by-side, and check in with each other constantly. If one disappears from view, the other will search the house until they’re reunited. They even soothe each other by gently licking faces and sucking on each other’s ears — it’s equal parts adorable and heart-melting. These boys came from a backyard breeder/hoarding situation and were severely matted when they entered rescue. Since then, they’ve been shaved down, cleaned up, and have truly blossomed in foster care.
