šŸ™ Pray for Ontario šŸ‡ØšŸ‡¦ Northern Ontario is facing a significant wildfire emergency. As of mid-July 2026, more than 100 active wildfires are burning across the northwest and northeast, with dozens remaining out of control. Several First Nations communities have been forced to evacuate, while others have suffered the loss of homes and community buildings. Thick wildfire smoke has also spread far beyond the fire zones, prompting air quality warnings across parts of Ontario, including the Greater Toronto Area. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families affected, the communities facing uncertainty, and the courageous firefighters, FireRangers, pilots, emergency personnel, and support crews from Ontario, Alberta, and across Canada who continue to battle these dangerous fires. If you are in an area affected by wildfire smoke, follow local health guidance, limit outdoor activities when air quality is poor, and obey all fire bans and outdoor burning restrictions.
