So we split wood again this AM. That black walnut is so wet, so we made smaller pieces of firewood. It all has to be stacked yet for drying. Thank goodness for the skidsteer and the high powered wood splitter we use for the splitting process. Maybe tonight wood gnomes will come out and stack it. Steve does all the hard work while I operate the Log splitter. We came in and I made breakfast..fresh scrambled eggs with just picked basil and other herbs, our beefsteak tomatoes, and toast with a garlic butter. I did not eat all mine so gave it to the two dogs. Little brats walked away. Neither will eat eggs. Go figure.
