Luke 16:10 Faithful or dishonest…lover of God or lover of money…righteous or wicked…can a man be both? Will…does God share a heart with Satan? Do we really have to choose? Joshua speaks to Israel, reminding them of God’s protection and provision, 24 “Now therefore, reverently fear the Lord and serve Him in sincerity and in truth; put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the Euphrates River, and in Egypt, and serve the Lord. And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves, whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers served on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell; but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord“. Joshua calls the children of Israel to decide, to make a choice of who to follow. If we were to part the curtain of deceit and lies, we would see the ‘cast’ of spirits the enemy uses to twist the truth…God’s Truth. When God tells us to have faith and trust in Him, the enemy tells us God helps those who helps themselves. When we read scripture about God‘s will, His purpose, and His plan, Pride puffs up and whispers in our ear, “It’s not a big deal. Just do it your way and call on God if you need Him”. The truth is, God is a jealous God. He’ll help us ‘clean house’ by giving us all power and authority, His power and authority to accomplish His will, to overcome the enemy, even in our own ‘house’. It all comes down to who our faith is in, who do we trust? How much ‘room’ do we give God to work in our lives? Perhaps we unintentionally place boundaries on our expectations so as not to be disappointed. Our faith may start small, but as our desire for more of Him…and less of us, our faith grows. In full battle dress, we head onto the battlefield. We raise our Shield of Faith and Sword of the Spirit and we fight. That Shield… Grows with each victory until it reaches the full length of our body, it covers us, protect us, and keeps us safe. We can’t straddle the fence b
