It makes me sick watching how modern culture and even some churches just blindly accept absolute immorality and call it "tolerance." We’ve completely lost our spine. I was reading Numbers 25 today. The Israelites are in total rebellion, engaging in pagan sexual cults. God sends a lethal plague. Right in the middle of this, an arrogant Israelite leader publicly parades a pagan prostitute into his tent. The priest Phinehas didn't form a committee. He didn't write a polite letter. He grabbed a heavy iron spear, walked right into the tent, and violently drove the spear through both of their bodies, pinning them to the ground. It is incredibly brutal. But God’s plague stopped immediately, and God praised Phinehas for his fierce zeal for holiness.
