There’s a couple of subjects. that’s on my mind this morning, the fact that I had put a scripture post on Facebook, not for anybody particular, just for myself, and they took it off as spam. What is up with that?? secondly, the other thing that has been on my mind is politics. It seems to make people lose friendships and relationships, calls, arguments, and actually takes peace away. You can’t have a discussion without someone getting angry. debates, or whatever you want to call it, turns into arguments, causes people anger, and loses relationships now. That was a time when you could discuss religion or politics without causing issues. What ever happened to freedom of speech when people feel free to talk about their feelings and their opinions? and have peaceful discussions, or have we ever had that? It’s good to hear each other’s point of view. It’s good to listen to people and see why a person thinks the way they do. I have done that over the years to my children grandchildren and my great-grandchildren. my grandchildren have taught me the most about listening and learning, and to have an open mind I think a lot of the way people think is the way they were taught as children. and the way their parents were taught before them. for some people, it seems hard to listen to new and different ideas and the way that you grew up, especially maybe baby boomers, which I am, but it really is important. You really get to know your family, your children, your friends, and whoever you come across. It’s good to know how people think and to discuss things peacefully without anger. and who knows, you might make a change for the better.Peace and kindness
