There is a very specific type of anxiety when a toxic person at work is actively scheming to get you fired or ruin your name. Your first instinct is to panic and fight dirty. Look at Haman in the Book of Esther. He hated a Jewish man named Mordecai so much that he used his political power to build a 75-foot pole (gallows) specifically to impale Mordecai on it. He planned the perfect execution. But God's timing is absolutely terrifying. Through a series of sleepless nights and perfectly timed conversations by Queen Esther, the King finds out about Haman's evil plot. The King orders Haman to be executed on the exact same 75-foot spike he built for Mordecai. God is a master of poetic justice. Keep your hands clean, and let your enemies build their own traps. #WorkplaceToxicity #BookOfEsther #GodIsJust #PoeticJustice
