He has great stamina and really enjoys long walks. He can go for hours! According to his foster he doesn't bark at passing dogs or people. He's good at going #1 and #2 right when he's taken out. Charley came from Bakersfield, a place where too many dogs don't get a second chance. Thankfully, Lucky Paws Rescue took him in. She's an energetic, curious puppy with an infectious personality that loves to play with her toys, wrestle with her foster dog sibling, snuggle, and play fetch. We call her a "real life muppet." I am a tiny fluff ball with a big personality and even bigger heart. I'm a 4 1/2 month old Shih Tzu looking for my forever home. My favorite things in the whole world are crinkly toys (seriously, I could play with them all day) and making new doggy friends. I love playing with my foster brothers. They are good at showing me the ropes. I'm still a baby so I am learning how to do all the important stuff. I do well in my kennel. Sometimes I make a little noise at first but it doesn't take long and I settle in nicely. I'm working hard on potty training, getting better every day. With a little consistency and patience, I will have it down in no time. I'm sweet, playful, and always ready to make you smile. t's heartbreaking to watch a family surrender their puppy because their new home won't allow dogs. Hello, my name is Beckie, and I am a female Chihuahua I am around 5 years old, weighing in at 8 lbs. I was surrendered back to the rescue after being there in what I thought was my furever home as they decided I was not a good fit anymore. They said I was fine with the other chis they had but as of late I have wanted all the attention to myself, so they decided to bring me back to the rescue which the rescue was happy to take me back and help me find the perfect new home. In my foster home, I am doing fine with other dogs but if not corrected, I will go for all the attention I can grab from my foster family! I am learning to share and deal nicely with the other dogs with positive reinforcement from my fosters. Originally when I came to the rescue I had been found in a ditch pregnant and with a broken pelvis and road rash so the assumption was I was hit by a car and left to die. No one came to claim me. The rescues vets worked hard to help save my puppies but due to the trauma of being hit I lost my babies and then had to heal from my broken heart and broken pelvis. I received excellent care and move well and jump up on sofa to snuggle. I am in need of a home with good leadership to let me know they are in charge, so I am not such an attention grabber. I am crate trained and doing well with house manners and just ready to be yours.
