Why My Child Asks for Mommy All Year Long

Every season, no matter what changes around us, my little one always asks for Mommy. Whether it’s a scraped knee in the summer or a tough day at school in the winter, I’m the first person they call for comfort. Sometimes, I wonder if I’m doing enough, but then I realize that being their safe place is the most important job I have. It’s both exhausting and heartwarming to be needed so much, all year round.
