Amarillo volleyball teams kick off with big wins

District volleyball season is already heating up in Amarillo, with Amarillo High sweeping Palo Duro and Tascosa powering past Plainview in straight sets. Tascosa’s offense was on fire, with Berkley Harper and Gabbie Mason racking up 20 kills between them, while Libby Miller and Addison Merrell kept the plays coming with a combined 37 assists. On defense, Bennet Berryman’s 24 digs made a huge difference. With more tournaments on the horizon, these teams are setting the bar high early.
