Raleigh friends rescue cat family in sealed box
Walking through Wooten Park in Raleigh, two friends spotted a clear plastic box with no air holes, taped shut in the parking lot. Inside, they found a mother cat, her daughter, and four tiny kittens—abandoned but alive. Thanks to their quick action and a call to the SPCA of Wake County, the whole feline family is now safe, cared for, and on the road to recovery. Cedar and Mahogany, the adult cats, will be adopted together, while the playful kittens will soon find new homes. It’s a powerful reminder of how a little kindness can change lives.
