Armadillos are moving into Illinois!

Armadillos, once unheard of in Illinois, are now popping up across the southern part of the state. Warmer winters and changing landscapes have made Illinois surprisingly welcoming for these armored creatures, which originally hail from Central and South America. Their arrival is just one sign of how climate change is shaking up local wildlife.
