BODY HIDDEN IN SEALED BEDROOM — OHIO WOMAN ARRESTED AFTER TEEN FOUND DEAD Austintown, Ohio — A disturbing investigation has now led to an arrest after a 16-year-old girl was found dead inside a bedroom that had allegedly been sealed off for weeks. Authorities say 38-year-old LaRonda Anne Mitchell was taken into custody after the body of Donnamalay Davis, 16, was discovered inside an Austintown home. Police first responded to the home during a welfare check involving the missing teen. According to reports— 👉 A woman inside became defensive when questioned 👉 A 12-year-old child told officers everything was “fine” But during a search— 👉 Police found a bedroom door taped shut 👉 Windows had also been sealed 👉 Officers were told it was to contain a strong odor Investigators say they later learned a body had allegedly been inside the room for at least a month. Even more disturbing— 👉 Authorities were told some people believed the teen needed “religious healing” 👉 Investigators say statements were made claiming the death “had to happen” during efforts to “heal” her ⚠️ Other children in the home were removed for safety concerns Mitchell now faces charges including— 👉 Involuntary manslaughter 👉 Abuse of a corpse 👉 Tampering with evidence 👉 Child endangerment 👉 Abduction 👉 Failure to report a death She remains jailed in Mahoning County as the investigation continues.
